A Message From John Atkinson

Challenge Accepted! I have accepted the challenge to go Over The Edge for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati where I am fundraising to rappel down 17 stories of The Westin Hotel on Thursday, August 24th! I've set a personal fundraising goal of $1,000; and, I'm asking you to support kids by making a personal donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Every dollar I raise gives at-risk youth in our communities the opportunities they need to achieve their goals, academically and socially. I hope you'll GO BIG with me, join my efforts and help raise the money necessary to change the direction of a child's life. 100% of funds raised will stay in Greater Cincinnati to help our community build bridges through mentoring! Please join me in supporting local Little Brothers and Sisters by helping me reach my goal today. Thanks for your support! PS. Do you want to know the best part? Big Brothers Big Sisters' donor-supported mentoring programs are statistically proven to work. Children enrolled as Littles are significantly more likely to stay in school and have strong relationships with family and friends. They are also less likely to use alcohol and drugs or engage in violent behavior.

In Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati
We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
