A Message From Hillary Gentry
Big Brothers Big Sisters has always been an organization that has caught my interest. Finding the right time was difficult with school and work, but in March of 2017 I decided to jump in.
This program allows for a very special kind of bond to be formed- it affords adults the opportunity to see the world through the lens of a child and gives children the opportunity to have different experiences in life they may not have had otherwise. Each and every child is special and unique, and they all deserve to be granted the same opportunities and adventures.
March marked 2 years of being a Big to my Little Luci. The past two years have been so eye opening and rewarding. I remember when I got the call from the match specialist where she stated “I think we have the perfect match for you”. And I have to tell you- she hit the nail right on the head. Luci surely keeps me on my toes with her constant curiosity, creativity, and pure energy. It’s been a blessing to learn and grow with her throughout these past two years.
I look forward to every opportunity to give back to Big Brothers Big Sisters and support the mission in any way I can. I am constantly advocating for the program and encouraging more folks to become involved. This year I joined the Young Professionals board and have decided to go Over The Edge. I hope that you can help me in reaching my goal in order to do so!

In Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati
We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models. We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
