A Message From Ashley Kuemmerling

Big Brothers Big Sisters matched me with my little, Malea, just a few months ago. Matching takes time and money, but makes such a huge impact for a little and a big. My fundraising goal is to raise $1,200. That amount is the total cost to match and support a single big and little for an entire year, which is the amount of time bigs commit to be in the program! BBBS has proven results statistically. Before starting the program, I needed to see those numbers, but now I know those crazy stats are 110% accurate. I've seen it change my life and Malea's already in such a short period of time. I couldn't image not having Malea in my life now and I am so thankful for BBBS for matching us! We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
