Hi Friends: I'm Suzzi Romines, a Big Sister through Big Brothers/Big Sister of Greater Cincinnati. Many of you know my story. My mom was a single mom raising my brother and myself in a town where we had no family. Great friends and neighbors became our "shining light". I knew that one day I would continue to support children and families. I've had seven "little sisters" and we've spent our time playing board games, playing tennis, visiting the animal shelter, taking walks, watching movies, attending their school events, and enjoying many, many other special moments. Just two hours a week is all it takes to be a mentor for a child and letting them know how important they are and that you are always in their corner. I am asking you to join me in this campaign to help me raise and exceed my goal of $1,200, the cost needed to match just one of the estimated 400 kids on the waiting list in the tri-state area. You may also want to be a "Big" yourself! There are several ways you can help me...Of course, make an individual pledge, or maybe reach out to your place of employment, your family or organization, inquire about becoming a "Big" and of course, please share for me!
