A Message From Kelly Adamson

Dear Friends, Family and Co-workers-

What an honor it is to be a member of the Cincinnati Business Courier “Forty Under 40” Class of 2020!

I truly cannot begin to express what an honor it is to be in the company of this year's class and also so many of my own mentors who have received this award in the past. Speaking of mentorship, I've been so grateful to have the guidance of some inspiring mentors, from my parents to OTR Chamber board members, each having played a huge role in my life.

Recognizing the importance of mentorship, I want to do everything I can to create new mentoring relationships for children in our community. With that, I'm joining my "Forty Under 40" classmates to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati make 40 new mentoring matches. I'm hoping to raise enough money ($1,200) to create and support a match between a Big and a Little for a year.

Michelle Obama expressed it best, "When you've worked hard, and done well, and walked through that doorway of opportunity, you do not slam it shut behind you. You reach back and you give other folks the same chances that helped you succeed."

As I recognize my responsibility to reach back and give chances & opportunities to others through mentoring, I ask that you support me in this effort. Your generosity is appreciated and definitely make sure you watch the awesome video below from BBBSGC!

In gratitude,

About This Campaign

40 For The Future

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati is proud to partner with the Cincinnati Business Courier as presenting sponsor of this year’s "Forty Under 40” awards recognizing our regions best young talent. Talk about role models!!! This is a remarkable group of young leaders.

Their success stories have a common theme: every honoree has had the benefit of mentors in both their personal and professional lives. That’s why our “40 for the Future Campaign” is all about bringing mentors into the lives of at-risk children who need help getting (and staying) on the path toward success.

Together, we are all Defenders of Potential!
