A Message From Lisa Spaulding

It's us again, Lisa and my "little" brother Kenyatta ("the Tay") who is now 13 years old and 2 to 3 inches taller than me! It's been 2 years since I last reached out to many of you during a similar campaign for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Tay and I are 5 years strong, and not even COVID can keep us down! Although we couldn't do many of our favorite things in 2020, when the weather cooperated, we were able to (re)learn and play the games of chess & checkers outside on a Lego board that Tay built. Pretty awesome! When I was asked to participate in this year's Empower Resilience campaign fundraiser, I really wanted to show continued support for new matches like ours. My goal is $1200 which is the cost to support one match for a year. I'm seeking donations of $25, $50, $75 or $100, However, ANY donation is sincerely appreciated. The campaign ends on January 31st and donations are 100% tax deductible. Your support means a lot -- it will make a difference in the lives of a new Big and Little.

In Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati
We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
