Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. I have served as a "Big Sister" to Jordynn for the last two years, meeting her every Friday for lunch at her school. I have seen first-hand how having a role model has affected her self-esteem, mood, and academic achievements. I am also on the Young Professionals Board to assist in recruiting bigs and fundraising dollars for the agency. Any donation, small or big, would be greatly appreciated.
