The Fundraising Page of Toni Hehl

It's that time of year where we are raising money for Big Brothers and Sisters. I've been a ‘Big’ for 2 years now, my ‘little's’ name is Mileydi and she is in 6th grade. Mileydi is out-going, talkative and full of energy. She enjoys singing, dancing and playing board games. Since I’ve been in this program I’ve learned that there are many parents that are just not able to spend quality time with their children. They just need an extra hand to support them in providing a positive role model and to speak positive encouragement into their children’s lives. It’s nice to know that as a Big Sister in this program. I am making a difference in a child’s life by helping to support a parent that wants to up-lift and encourage their child. Help them be all that they can be by surrounding them with role models to look up too. I am honored that they would allow me, someone that they don’t know to be that person. Investing in someone else’s life has been extremely rewarding. My hope is that she will be a positive role model for someone else in the future.
