Since 2019, I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, working with two Littles formerly in Indiana and now in Ohio. Over the years, we’ve participated in a variety of community activities including trips to the zoo, amusement parks, sporting events, and library visits to work on improving literacy skills. Big Brothers Big Sisters plays a vital role in connecting young people with mentors who can support their growth, learning, and confidence. I’m aiming to raise $1,500 to help the organization continue this important work. Your contribution will directly support mentor-mentee matches for an entire year including resources and programming that make these experiences possible.
