A Message From Iris Simpson Bush

I am happy to “go over the edge” for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati on behalf of the Flying Pig Marathon. Each year, the Marathon supports more than 300 charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters and raises nearly $1 million every year for these non-profits. I personally believe the work being done by the charities in our community is what makes Cincinnati such a great place to live, work and run! I hope you will consider making a donation to help me “go over the edge” for Big Brothers Big Sisters!

We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
