A Message From Amber Denning

I joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2015, as a Big Sister and was lucky enough to be perfectly matched with the spunkiest little girl, Shianna. My Little Sister, Shianna, and I truly enjoy our weekly time together! Whether we are playing games, baking, making crafts, playing outside, window shopping, getting our nails done, or just hanging out, we always have a good time. Her giant smile and witty personality can make my day. We have developed a very special bond that will last a lifetime, and I’m certain that I will always be a positive resource to her, in addition to her family. Being a part of this organization has been an honor, not only as a Big, but now as a member of their board of Advisors. I cannot say enough good things about the people who are behind the scenes, and how much effort BBBS puts into their work. This is an organization full of heart, and it is near and dear to mine! I believe that the future of the world is in the hands of the youth, and that by supporting a Little, a Big can make a BIG impact on the future. I hope to collect as many donations as possible, for an organization that I believe is truly important for the future of the world. Please, give your support so that more kids can have the opportunity to take advantage of this program as we put forth the effort to spread the word and support more and more matches! We WILL continue to make a BIG impact on the futures of our communities, and the world!

In Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati
We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
