Many of us grow up with the support of consistent, positive, adult relationships. With these models in our lives, we learn how to play and to discover. We learn empathy and resilience. We learn that a misstep isn't the end of the world - it's an opportunity to grow; to believe in our potential. We grow up a little ourselves and then, well, then we become Big Brothers and Big Sisters... For many kids on the waiting list in our community - which hovers around 400 - those positive adult relationships aren't always present. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps provide that consistent, one-on-one match - the kind that Ariahna jokes, "Kids These Days" need. (And to be real - they create the kind of positive kid energy "Adults These Days" could use a dose of too...) Help us match other Bigs/Littlesl in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. Thank you!
