A Message From Purdy Posse

Each year I set a goal to raise $1,200 for BBBS. My goal has been exceeded in previous years through your support and generous giving. December is a big month for Ra'Niyah and I. We were matched on 12/4/17. We both have December birthdays. Niyah turns the Sweet 16 on the 21st. Lets just say I'm getting very close to 30 on the 28th. We agreed that the best present anyone could give us would be a donation to the organization that brought us together. It took a little convincing to get her to agree with me on this one. I reassured her that she will still get presents. We love giving back to BBBS and appreciate all of you who donate to help keep this amazing organization moving forward with all the great things they do. Your support, love and positive words mean so much to us.

We create life-changing friendships by matching adult mentors with  at-risk Tri-State children in need of positive role models.  We partner with parents and guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program. Statistics show these Little Brothers and Sisters have higher aspirations, greater confidence, do better in school and avoid risky behaviors.
